Maxim Banaga has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Maxim most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Medpark International Hospital starting from March 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at Simpals from January 2021 to February 2023. Maxim also worked as the CFO and Board Member at Sudzucker Moldova SA from February 2016 to January 2021, where they were responsible for budgeting, decision-making support, forecasts, reporting, investment calculations, and financial analysis. Maxim also provided support in building the company's financial and tax strategies. Before that, Maxim worked at PwC in various roles, including Tax Manager and Senior Tax Consultant, where they handled corporate income tax products and services, tax structuring solutions, tax audits, tax due diligence projects, and transfer pricing documentation. Maxim also had experience in asset misappropriation investigations and served as an intern at PwC earlier in their career. Additionally, Maxim worked as the Chief Accountant at Milemax Group SRL from June 2005 to June 2007.

Maxim Banaga was a student at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from 2011 to 2015, studying Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they were a student at the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ADIT) studying Tax Law/Taxation. Maxim also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economic Law from Academia de Studii Economice, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Furthermore, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Audit from Academia de Studii Economice from 2004 to 2007.
