Gregory Hale has a strong background in pediatric hematology and oncology, with extensive experience in bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapies. Gregory has held various leadership positions, including Senior Medical Director at Medpace and Professor of Oncology and Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins University. At the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, they served as the Medical Director of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and BMT, providing administrative oversight for a large team and conducting clinical trials. Gregory also served as the Transplant Center Director at Be The Match and the Clinical Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Service at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky and a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Gregory began their career as a Pediatric Resident at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Gregory Hale earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in the years 1986 to 1990. Gregory also graduated from Marshall University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry. In 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Gregory Hale has additional certifications in various fields of healthcare, including Certified Physician Executive, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified Professional in Patient Safety, and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, among others. Gregory is also board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
