Barbara Mitchell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in educational technology and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Program Excellence and Institutional Planning Lead at Medicine Hat College since 2011, Barbara specializes in enhancing teaching methods and producing multimedia content, including instructional videos and live streaming events. In a previous role as Project Coordinator during a strategic planning initiative, Barbara collaborated with stakeholders to develop the college's 2020-2030 strategic plan. Prior to Medicine Hat College, Barbara was the co-founder and owner of Stream Media Inc., leading creative projects for 15 years, and also worked as a Mobile Coordinator and Video Producer at Shaw Communications. Barbara holds a diploma in Broadcasting Radio and Television from Confederation College and gained further education at Mount Royal University.
