Aanchal Sharma, PhD has an extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Aanchal started their career as a Research Associate at THSTI in 2011, where they worked for three months. Following this, they joined DAIICHI SANKYO INDIA PHARMA PRIVATE LIMITED as a Senior Research Biologist from September 2011 to April 2012. Later, they continued their journey at the same company as a Research Scientist from October 2012 to January 2017.

In 2017, Aanchal joined DDRC-THSTI as a Scientist C, where they worked until July 2018. Aanchal then moved to NeoLiver Research as a Scientist and served there from August 2018 to March 2020. Currently, they are employed at Medicenna Therapeutics Corp. as a Senior Scientist since September 2020. Aanchal's diverse experience demonstrates their strong background and expertise in scientific research and development.

Aanchal Sharma, PhD, has a diverse education history in the field of biological sciences. Aanchal pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical Science from Delhi University, completing their degree between 2001 and 2004. Building upon their undergraduate education, Aanchal pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2004 to 2006.

Motivated to further advance their knowledge and expertise, Aanchal then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Cell Biology from the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) in Pune, India. Aanchal successfully completed their Ph.D. between 2006 and 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Aanchal Sharma has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and broaden their knowledge. In April 2020, they completed the certification program "Biology Meets Programming: Bioinformatics for Beginners" offered by UC San Diego through Coursera. In the same month, they also obtained the "McGill Personal Finance Essentials" certification from McGill University. Aanchal's pursuit of expanding their expertise extends back to August 2009 when they completed a certification in Clinical Research from the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) in Pune.
