Bill Phillips currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown and Northeast, as well as President of the Heart and Vascular division at the same institution since August 2021. Since July 2016, Bill has held the position of President at Providence Heart and Vascular Institute. Additionally, Bill was a member of the LifePoint Health National Cardiovascular Council from 2017 until December 2021 and served as President of the Columbia Heart Clinic from 2012 to December 2015. Bill Phillips earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Citadel.
