Blazej Michalski is a highly experienced medical professional with a focus on cardiology and advanced medical imaging. Since September 2021, Blazej serves as an Assistant at the Medical University of Lodz while also being a Co-Owner at the Medical Center Orkan-Med since January 2008. In addition, Blazej holds several committee positions within the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), including Committee Member for Scientific Initiatives and Web and Communication, as well as HIT Chair and Vice Chair. Blazej has been a Research Fellow at the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases at University Hospital Gasthuisberg since October 2015 and has served on the Board of the EACVI - HIT since December 2012. Blazej has held previous leadership roles, including Immediate Past President of Club 30 of the Polish Cardiac Society from September 2017 to September 2019. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from Medical University of Lodz, a Master’s degree in Advanced Medical Imaging from KU Leuven, and extensive participation in various cardiology and imaging courses.
