Jason Evans currently serves as the Country Director for Medical Teams International in Uganda, a position held since October 2023, providing overall leadership to the organization’s flagship program. Previously, Jason contributed to VisionFund Uganda as a Board Member from January 2019 to July 2023, focusing on pro-poor microfinance initiatives. Jason's extensive experience with World Vision spanned over two decades, including positions as National Director for one of the largest country programs in the partnership from June 2001 to July 2023, and earlier roles as Operations Manager. Additionally, Jason held the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors at VisionFund Cambodia from 2013 to 2018, contributing to the institution's microfinance efforts. Earlier career highlights include serving as Country Director for Dorcas Aid International and Medair, as well as a Project Manager at Bovis Construction. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Leeds Polytechnic.
