Harry Gewanter is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in pediatric rheumatology and leadership roles within medical organizations. Currently serving as President of the Medical Society of Virginia and as Medical Director for Medical Home Plus, Gewanter has dedicated much of the career to advocating for children with special needs. A longstanding volunteer with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Arthritis Foundation, Gewanter has also held significant positions such as RheumPAC Chair for the American College of Rheumatology. Gewanter's educational background includes a medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Duke University.
