Kathryn Bolton BSN, RN has extensive work experience in various healthcare roles. Kathryn started their career in 1985 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital, where they worked as an RN and Clinical Coordinator for 15 years. In 2007, they joined Quest Home Health Care as a Case Manager, and also worked at Vizzit Home Health Inc. as an Administrator/Director of Nursing/Clinical Coordinator/Supervising Nurse. Since 2011, Kathryn has held multiple leadership positions at Medica Health Management, including Sr. Director of Hospice Operations, Sr. Director of Clinical Compliance, and Sr. Director of Operations, PDGM Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for overseeing operations of multiple home health, hospice, and PHC agencies, performing audits and ensuring compliance with regulations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and providing support to agencies. Kathryn has also served as a clinical nurse consultant, taught educational in-services and management seminars, and worked towards the fulfillment of financial and company goals.
Kathryn Bolton BSN, RN completed their education at several institutions. Kathryn attended Ursuline Academy from 1976 to 1980, where they pursued a College Preparatory program. After finishing high school, they enrolled at Baylor University from 1980 to 1982 to complete their nursing pre-requisites. Finally, they attended Louisiana State University from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
Additionally, Kathryn Bolton holds several certifications. Kathryn is an ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Instructor, certified by the American Heart Association. Kathryn also has a BCLS/CPR (Basic Cardiac Life Support/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification from the same institution. Furthermore, they are a certified CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) through the Association of Critical Care Nurses.
