Aashka Mehta is a skilled research associate currently employed at MEDIC Life Sciences since May 2023. Previously, Aashka served as a graduate student researcher at UB School of Dental Medicine from January 2022 to April 2023, focusing on the influence of outer membrane vesicles from P gingivalis on blood monocyte-derived macrophages in the context of periodontitis. Aashka has also gained valuable experience as a microbiology and molecular technician at Sunflower Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre from May 2020 to April 2021, where responsibilities included audit documentation and internal quality control monitoring. An earlier role as an internship trainee at the same laboratory involved performing microbiological tests and contributing to the development of an Antibiotic Policy. Aashka holds a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University at Buffalo, a postgraduate diploma in clinical research from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Mithibai College.
