Lal Bahadur Kunwar started his career as a Health Post In-charge in a remote area of Nepal, where he got introduced to the district health care system. This experience motivated him to be a public health practitioner. He completed his MPH from India and worked as a Lecturer at Pokhara University. He then joined Possible Health/Nyaya Health Nepal as a Senior Manager, later being promoted to the Deputy Director of the Community Health Program.
Mr. Kunwar was a Hubert Humphrey Fellow from 2018-2019. He completed his fellowship on Public Health Policy and Management from the Virginia Commonwealth University. He believes health is a fundamental human right and is passionate about providing better access to healthcare services in rural areas.
