Erin Burnett is a dedicated veterinary medicine student at the University of Nottingham, with a strong focus on animal welfare and education. Currently serving as the Publicity and Communications Officer and Treasurer for the UoN VetSoc Committee, Erin has honed financial and management skills while securing sponsorships and organizing events. As a recipient of the UFAW Summer Studentship, Erin conducts research on the motivations behind acquiring designer crossbreed puppies, collaborating with academics at the Royal Veterinary College. Additionally, Erin hosts the "So You Want To Be a Vet" podcast and engages with prospective veterinary students through conferences, highlighting commitment to accessibility in the veterinary profession. Previous roles include Course Representative at the University, Clinical Contact Tracer during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a variety of positions at Waitrose & Partners.
