Leon Richard is currently a Data Engineer at Mediavine. Prior to this, they were a Senior Data Strategist at Moroch from October 2015 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for building ELT processes, data integrations and BI solutions to support agency needs around media performance, business impact and market influence. Leon's job functions included development of ELT processes using python, sql and javascript, creating pipes into media and client platforms via APIs, and connecting to common data endpoints such as SFTP, Blob Storage, S3, Email Attachments and ODBC connections. The output of these data inputs was to provide dashboard solutions in Powerbi and Google Data Studio as well as clean sql data for analysts.

Prior to their role at Moroch, Leon was an intern at Swirl from June 2015 to August 2015, where they assisted with media planning for Juniper Networks and Microsoft Stores. Leon also interned at The University of Texas at Austin from February 2015 to May 2015 as a Sustainability Media Intern. From September 2014 to December 2014, Leon worked as a freelance video editor for K&N Management. And finally, from June 2013 to June 2014, they interned as a Marketing Assistant at Breed and Company.

Leon Richard received their Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from The University of Texas at Austin. Leon also received their Business Foundations Certificate from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Lastly, they attended West Mesquite High School.

Their manager is Renae Hodgkins, Software Engineering Manager. Leon Richard works with Hannah Zulueta - Software Engineer, Navya Jonnalagadla - QA Engineer, and Junior Eluhu - Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
