Emily W. has a diverse background in event planning, marketing, and customer service. Currently serving as an Event Planning Intern at New York African Chorus Ensemble Inc. since October 2022, Emily is also a participant in the MediaMKRS Career Exploration program, where valuable workplace skills and networking are developed through paid media internships. Previous experience includes a Marketing Intern role at Contextere, where content creation and social media engagement strategies were implemented, and a Cashier/Barista position at Aroma Espresso Bar, focusing on customer satisfaction in a high-volume setting. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies, with a minor in Computer Science and a certificate in Business Studies from Hunter College, and has completed a high school diploma with a focus on Media Communications from Brooklyn Technical High School.
