Tiziano D'Albis has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of machine learning, computational neuroscience, medical imaging, and software engineering. Tiziano began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Limonta Informatica, where they contributed to the design and development of an information system for textile companies. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistent at the Freie Universität Berlin, studying the neural correlates of learning and memory in the honeybee brain. In 2012, they worked as a Research Engineer at the Université de Rennes 1, working on a model-based computer assisted surgical planning in deep brain stimulation project. From 2013 to 2021, they worked as a Research Scientist (Computational Neuroscience) at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where they worked on computational network models of spatial cognition in the brain. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Engineer at mediaire, where they develop, validates, and integrates computer vision solutions for medical imaging. Tiziano has experience with working on CE certified medical products.
Tiziano D'Albis completed a Master of Science in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2006 to 2009. Tiziano then went on to complete a Master of Science in Computational Neuroscience at the Bernstein Center Computational Neuroscience Berlin, a joint program between Technische Universität Berlin and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, from 2009 to 2012. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Neuroscience from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2013 to 2018.
