Tara Kowalewski is a seasoned instructional designer currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at Ascend Learning since May 2024, focusing on the development of instructor-led, hybrid, and online courses. Previously, Tara worked as an Online Teaching Architect at Washtenaw Community College from May 2019 to September 2021, supporting faculty in curriculum alignment, instructional design, and the implementation of innovative online learning strategies. Additional experience includes positions as a Tennis Program Assistant at Ann Arbor Community Education and Recreation, Assistant Director of Continuing Education at the College for Creative Studies, and marketing roles at Macomb Community College and Anchor Bay School District. Tara holds a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a focus on Marketing from Eastern Michigan University.
