Gini Ikwuezunma has a long history of experience in the medical field. Gini began their career in 2006 as an International Healthcare Consultant at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean, where they handled Sales and Marketing strategy and developed an Executive physical suite. In 2005, they worked as a Vaccine Research Specialist at Emory University, where they conducted Flow cytometry and developed Yellow Fever Vaccine and Varicella Zoster Virus for more effective viral delivery systems. In 2014, they became a Resident Physician and Research Fellow at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. In 2017, they began working as a Digital Health Specialist at Ranvia Group L.L.C., where they facilitated and streamlined communication between healthcare companies and clients. In 2018, they founded Medherd and served as the Clinical Strategist. In 2019, they became a Resident Physician at Meharry Medical College.
Gini Ikwuezunma attended The University of Georgia from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Gini then attended Medical University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2014, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine - MD in Medicine, as well as a Master of Science - MS in Clinical and Translational Research.
