Neil Sambol has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2005, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Witness Systems, where they developed and maintained an IP recorder using MS Visual Studio 2003 with C++. In 2007, they moved to HP where they were a Software Development Manager (Level 2). At HP, they managed 3 project teams with 18 direct reports and 7 indirect reports. In 2010, they became a Manager of Software Development at TMX Finance, where they managed 3 project teams with 18 direct reports and 7 indirect reports. In 2012, they moved to Amplify Learning (News Corp) as the Senior Director of Engineering (Mobile Applications). In this role, they were responsible for 11-developer cross-platform mobile application teams in NYC. In 2015, they were promoted to Executive Director of Software Development at Amplify Learning (News Corp), where they were responsible for 7 Alpharetta-based development teams and Agile process coach/consultant/mentor across Amplify locations. In 2016, they became the VP of Engineering at CallMaX, an MRI Software company. In 2018, they moved to SmileDirectClub as the Director of Software Engineering, where they were responsible for 5 teams. In 2020, they became the Director of Software Engineering at OTG Management, where they oversaw a full-stack engineering team and shifted the company's technologies from native iOS, PHP, Perl, Java, Ruby, Scala to responsive web with ReactJS, React Native, Python, and Node with Typescript. In 2021, they joined Vroom as a Senior Software Development Manager and MedHaul as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering.

Neil Sambol has an education history that spans from 1984 to 2021. Neil obtained a CIS in Computer Science and Philosophy from Iona University between 1984 and 1989. Neil then obtained a MA in Religion from Yale University between 1995 and 1997.
