Shruthi L is a research associate at MedGenome since November 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a research fellow on a DST project at St Johns Research Institute from August 2012 to November 2014, focusing on screening molecular markers for cancer and HIV. Prior to that, Shruthi worked as a research trainee in the Food Microbiology Department at CFTRI from July 2011 to June 2012, where the project involved the utilization of agro waste and polyphenol transformation by yeast during wheat bran fermentation. Earlier experience includes a project at Genohelix Biolabs (JIVAS) from July 2007 to May 2008, concentrating on the in vitro development of Colletotrichum capsici resistant Capsicum annum through somaclonal variation and RAPD analysis. Shruthi L holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Biotechnology from Manipal Institute of Technology.
