Eskola Mari is a seasoned expert in regulatory science, currently serving as the Regulatory Science and Reports Team Leader and Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert at Oy Medfiles Ltd since July 2021, focusing on food, feed, and cosmetics regulations in the EU, US, and globally. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at Ecobio Oy, Product Development and Food Regulatory Affairs Manager at ViskoTeepak, and Scientific Officer at the European Chemicals Agency. Eskola's experience encompasses managing biocidal product authorizations, regulatory affairs for feed additives, and scientific contributions to EFSA's risk assessments on contaminants in food and feed. With a PhD and MSc in food sciences from the University of Helsinki, Eskola possesses extensive knowledge in food safety, risk assessment, and compliance with international regulations.
