Tom Cole is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Head of Engineering at Meddbase since May 2018, Tom plays a pivotal role in aligning technical development with strategic objectives and enhancing system scalability to support company growth. Tom has a diverse history in the industry, including previous roles as Engineering Manager at EdgeMethods, Development Manager at Minttulip Limited, and Chief Technology Officer at Inform Health Ltd, where responsibilities ranged from hands-on coding to strategic planning and technical sales. Tom's early career included positions at Volkswagen Financial Services, Graphnet Health Ltd, and Clee Saddlery, contributing to a wide range of projects within healthcare and industrial IoT sectors. Tom holds a PGC in Health Informatics from The University of Sheffield and a BSc in Software Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
