José Miguel Figueiredo has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2007. Their work experience started with an Event Technician role at Centro de Eventos - FEUP in 2007. In 2015, they worked as a Programmer at Rolling Space and as an IT Consultant at BOLD International. José Miguel then worked as a Mobile Consultant at Celfocus in 2016. In 2017, they moved to WIT Software as an iOS Developer. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Senior iOS Developer and Senior iOS Contractor at Synchronoss Technologies. José Miguel currently works as a Principal iOS Engineer at Spark since 2020 and a Senior iOS Engineer at Medal.tv since 2021.

José Miguel Figueiredo attended Secundaria Homem-Cristo from 2002 to 2005. José Miguel then went on to attend Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto from 2006 to 2019, where they studied Redes de Sistemas e Telecomunicações.
