Samuel Lauermann has a diversified work experience. Samuel started their career in 2011 as a Research Fellow at Schulthess Klinik. In 2013, they joined Medacta International and worked as a Sales Representative Orthopaedics until 2016. Samuel then moved to Schweizer Armee and held the position of General Staff Officer starting from November 2016. Since January 2017, they have been working at Medacta International in various roles, including Product Management Joints and currently serving as the Head of Product Management Switzerland.

Samuel Lauermann completed their education at ETH Zürich from 2005 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a Lehrdiplom Sport degree in Bewegungswissenschaften und Sport, as well as a MSc in Exercise Physiology in the same field. In addition to their academic achievements, Samuel has also pursued further certifications. Samuel completed a CAS Pricing & Sales program at ZHAW School of Management and Law in June 2020, and a CAS Digital Product Management program at the same institution in December 2019. Samuel also received recognition for securing the 2nd place in the Business Plan competition at IVE - Institute for Value Based Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, Samuel Lauermann obtained certification in Good Clinical Practice from AO Foundation.
