Gianluca Gargantini is an experienced project manager currently working at Medacta International since October 2020. Prior to this role, Gianluca served as a designer at Medacta SA from June 2013 to October 2020, specializing in the design of custom-made cutting blocks for knee surgery, which involved analyzing medical images, reconstructing bone morphology, and designing cutting blocks using 3D CAD software. Earlier experience includes working at MES SA from February 2011 to May 2013 as a production worker and maintenance technician, where responsibilities encompassed production, machine maintenance, material management, and mechanical modifications. Gianluca holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, obtained between 2016 and 2020, and completed secondary education at I.S.I.S. “Isaac Newton” from 2003 to 2008.
