Dr. Kristin Grabe-Heyne has accumulated extensive work experience in the field of health economics and market access. Dr. Kristin started their career as a Research Associate at the Institute of Health Economics in 2002 and worked there until 2008. Following that, they joined Astellas Pharma as a Manager of Health Care and Health Economics, where they worked until 2012. In 2013, they joined Astellas Europe as an Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcome Research, and then moved to the role of Senior Manager of Market Access and Health Economics at Merck Group in 2015, where they worked until 2018. Currently, they are the Director of Global Market Access and Health Economics at medac GmbH, a position they have held since 2019.
Dr. Kristin Grabe-Heyne's education history includes a Diploma in European Market Access from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Dr. rer. pol (PhD in Economics) degree in Health Economics from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, completing it between 2002 and 2008. Before their doctoral studies, from 1999 to 2001, they obtained a Diploma in National Economy also from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. Lastly, Dr. Kristin Grabe-Heyne received a Diploma in Business Administration from the same university from 1993 to 1998.
