Adhil Asif is a Research and Development Engineer at MMG - Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH since October 2021, having previously served as an intern at the same company from March 2021 to August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Associate at the Department of Ocean Engineering IIT Madras, where Adhil engaged in CFD analysis and ship controllability studies from August 2018 to August 2019. Additional internships at Vik-Sandvik Design India Pvt. Ltd. focused on scantling calculation for an oceanographic research vessel, and previous summer internships at Summit Maritime Private Limited and Cochin Shipyard Limited provided early exposure to the industry. Adhil holds a Master's degree in Marine Technology - Hydrodynamics for Ocean Engineering from Centrale Nantes and a Master's degree in Advanced Design in Ship and Offshore Structure from the University of Liège, complemented by a BTech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam.
