Qiyuan Song has work experience in various roles and companies. Qiyuan started their career as an Intern at NTT in 2011. Qiyuan then worked as a Research Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2012 to 2013. Qiyuan went on to work as a Junior Research Associate at RIKEN from 2013 to 2015. After that, they were a Vision Engineer at MUJIN Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Following this, Qiyuan worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Caltech from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are serving as the 3D Sensing Technical Lead at Mech-Mind Robotics starting from 2021.
Qiyuan Song's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Optics with a minor in Economics from Fudan University, which was obtained between 2005 and 2009. Lastly, Qiyuan Song earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Keio University, specializing in the Photonics and Imaging Division, which was completed between 2013 and 2019.
