Alec Sieving is an experienced marine engineer currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer of Steam and Motor vessels at MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since May 2020. Prior to this role, Alec held the position of 3rd Assistant Engineer. Experience includes a tenure at California State University Maritime Academy from January 2019 to January 2020 as a Cadet 1st Assistant Engineer, as well as a summer role as an Engine Cadet at Hornbeck Offshore in May 2018. Alec Sieving earned a degree in Marine Engineering Technology from California State University Maritime Academy, completing studies in 2020, and holds the certification of Unlimited 3rd Assistant Engineer.
