Casey Sanders is a Senior Test Engineer at MEAG Power, overseeing protection and control projects for substations in Northwest Georgia since June 2019. Responsibilities include design review, material procurement, contractor scheduling, and stakeholder communication. Prior to this role, Casey served as a Test Engineer, managing test engineering contractors for power grid upgrades. At Georgia Power Company from January 2015 to June 2019, Casey worked as a Protection & Controls Test Engineer on transmission and distribution systems, focusing on testing and maintenance compliance with federal regulations. Earlier experience includes an internship at Norfolk Southern Corporation, specializing in Joint Wayside Detection Systems. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University, with prior studies at the University of West Georgia.
