Josette Couillonneur has been working with the Meadow Lake Tribal Council since June 1988, currently holding the position of Assistant Director of Health/Community Development Manager. Josette supports nine First Nations Health Directors, oversees 28 staff at the second level, and the Mistahay Musqua Treatment Centre. Additionally, Josette conducts yearly workplans with all nine First Nations and second level staff, offers Crisis Intervention services as a registered clinical supervisor, and conducts 6-month reviews of workplans with staff. Prior to this role, Josette worked as a Social Service Administrator at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada from February 1980 to June 1988. Josette received their education from various institutions including Beauval Indian Residential School, Canoe Lake Day School, Lebret Indian Residential School, and Fort Qu'Appelle Indian Residential School.
