Michael Widyaputra, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Legal at MDI Ventures since April 2023, with notable involvement in main fund investments. Previously, Michael held the position of Head of Legal & AML-CFT at BRI Ventures from July 2020 to April 2023, overseeing multiple venture funds and portfolios, including two IPOs. Michael's career includes roles as Senior Legal and Investment Legal Department Manager at Kiqani, Associate at Walalangi & Partners, and Associate at Bagus Enrico & Partners, with a foundation in legal aid as a Paralegal at the University of Indonesia. Michael's education includes a PhD in Law from Universitas Pelita Harapan, an LLM from the University of Melbourne, and an LLB from the University of Indonesia.
