Elisabeth Marnik is a dedicated science educator and communicator currently serving as the Science Education & Outreach Coordinator at MDI Biological Laboratory since June 2024. Marnik actively engages the public in science communication through social media platforms (@sciencewhizliz) and a Substack Newsletter, while contributing as a writer for Those Nerdy Girls, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Global Autoimmune Institute. Previously, Marnik coordinated the Pre-Medicine Program and served as an Assistant Professor at Husson University. Marnik has extensive research experience, having completed postdoctoral work at MDI Biological Laboratory and earning a PhD in Immunology and Genetics from Tufts University.
