Kierra C. has extensive experience in program management and volunteer coordination, currently serving as a Program Associate in Economic Security at MDC since January 2017. Prior to this role, Kierra worked at NeighborWorks America as a Senior Administrative Associate in Field Operations, where responsibilities included coordinating logistics for events and providing customer service to various stakeholders. Kierra's experience at AARP as a Field Services Assistant involved developing and leading significant volunteer projects, while a role at Greater DC Cares included project development and management, creating action plans and budgets under tight deadlines. Additionally, as a Neighboring Community Organizer - VISTA, Kierra played a vital role in recruiting and training over 500 volunteers for various community service initiatives. Kierra holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Maryland Global Campus, complemented by earlier education at Bowling Green State University.
