Derek Trussell is a professional field geologist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Since August 2017, Derek has been employed at McPhail Associates, LLC, previously working as a field geologist at WjF GeoConsultants, Inc. for a brief period in 2017. Prior to these positions, Derek gained valuable experience through an internship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and as a self-employed carpenter assistant. Additional earlier roles include working as a doorman and bar back at High Horse, part of the grounds crew at Phillips Academy, and serving as a gas pump attendant at Henry's Automotive.
