Lee Nugent

Vice President, Information Technology at McNair Interests

Lee Nugent has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Lee most recently served as the Vice President of Information Technology at McNair Interests since April 2019. Before that, they worked at Tellepsen from June 2014 to April 2019 as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, they oversaw IT strategy development, managed operating and capital expenditures, and led a team of nine staff members.

Prior to Tellepsen, Lee worked at Cathexis Oil & Gas as the Director of Information Technology from June 2012 to May 2014. Lee built a flexible and scalable IT organization, reduced month-end close time, and managed technology infrastructure for around 150 users in multiple locations.

Before Cathexis Oil & Gas, Lee held various positions at Kuraray America, Inc from April 2001 to June 2012. Lee served as the Sr. Manager of Information Technology, Controller for the Trading Business Unit, Manager of Information Technology, and Network Administrator. During their time at Kuraray America, Inc, Lee played a key role in developing and implementing technology strategies, improving the relationship between accounting and divisions, and consolidating IT systems for Kuraray North American subsidiaries.

Prior to Kuraray America, Inc, Lee worked as a Network Administrator at Bellaire Medical Center from July 1999 to April 2001, and as a Systems Analyst at Outsource Financial from April 1998 to May 1999.

Lee Nugent earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Houston, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Prior to attending university, Lee Nugent completed their high school education at Strake Jesuit from 1987 to 1991. No further information is available regarding Lee Nugent's education at St. Thomas Moore. In 2007, Lee Nugent obtained a certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
