Melanie Mason serves as the Human Resources Director at McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC since May 2021 and concurrently holds the position of Clinician II at Region Ten CSB since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Medical Social Worker at Hospice of the Piedmont and Clinical Manager, MSW at Riverside Shore Hospice, where responsibilities included budgeting, staff assignment, patient care coordination, and staff training. Additionally, Melanie worked as a Bereavement Coordinator, providing support to grieving patients and managing youth grief camps. Earlier career highlights include serving as Social Services Director at Heritage Hall Nursing Home and Planning Supervisor at BaySys Technologies, where leadership and coordination across departments were essential. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Virginia Tech.
