Galen Carlson is an experienced designer currently working at McLennan Design, a studio of Perkins&Will, since September 2017. Prior to this role, Galen held positions as an architectural intern at Otak from July 2016 to July 2017, and as a practicum student at Propel Studio Architecture from April 2016 to June 2016. Previous experience includes an internship at JENSEN FEY ARCHITECTURE & PLANNING from November 2014 to September 2015, and a valet position at Seattle City Valet from February 2014 to November 2014. Galen began a professional journey in customer service as a barista at Starbucks from June 2012 to December 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the University of Oregon, attained between 2015 and 2017, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Washington, completed in June 2014. Galen also participated in the Running Start program at Bellevue College during 2010 to 2011.
