Elizabeth Shannon is the Co-Director of Communications and Marketing at McLean School. Elizabeth has over 8 years of experience working in the healthcare field in a variety of roles.
Elizabeth started their career as a Hospice Case Manager at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in January 2012. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Elizabeth also maintained accurate, detailed reports and records and instructed individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth.
In February 2011, Elizabeth took on the role of Utilization Review (PRN) at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. In this role, they were responsible for assessing the needs of individuals, families, or communities, including assessment of individuals' home or work environments, to identify potential health or safety problems.
Elizabeth has a passion for helping others and improving the quality of healthcare. Elizabeth is a dedicated professional who is always looking for ways to improve their skills and knowledge.
Elizabeth Shannon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Registered Nursing from George Mason University and a High School Diploma Honors in Collegiate Prep from McLean High School.
