Doug Fopma has extensive experience in emergency medical services, real estate, and accounting. Currently serving as a Patient Care Technician at McLaren Northern Michigan since June 2023, Doug has previously held positions as an Emergency Medical Technician with Mackinac Island EMS and TRI Township Ambulance. Doug's role as Deputy Chief at Otsego County EMS involved oversight of ALS ambulances, special operations, and rescue duties. Additionally, Doug co-owned Nelson's Drug Store and worked in various accounting roles, including Accounting Supervisor at Nicholas Plastics Inc. and Accounting Clerk at Lear Siegler. Doug's educational background includes ongoing studies at Northwestern Michigan College and degrees in Accounting from Ferris State University and Grand Rapids Community College.
