Cortney Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Cortney began their career as an industrial engineering intern at Hitachi Computer Products, Inc. in 1990 and worked there until 1993. Following this, they joined Optimation as a Large Scale Systems Integration Engineer from 1994 to 1996. Cortney then moved to Fedex Ground and served as a Hub Industrial Engineer from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, Cortney started working at McLane Company, Inc. and held various roles including Manager of Engineering (1999-2001), Corporate Director of Logistics (2001-2005), Sr. Director of Logistics (2005-2014), and Corporate Vice President of Operations Support (2014-present). Currently, they hold the position of Vice President DC Network and Facilities at McLane Company, Inc.
Cortney Hunt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, which they earned from 1987 to 1992. Cortney also obtained a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the same university, completing their studies from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, they have pursued professional certifications and training, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification. Cortney Hunt has further enhanced their skills by attending the Program on Negotiation Executive Course at Harvard Law School and receiving Media Crisis Training from Virgil Scudder & Associates.
