Girard Jenkins

Girard Jenkins has a diverse work experience in the field of construction management. Girard started their career in 2003 as the Director of Facilities/Construction Manager at Roseland Community Hospital. Later on, they became a Senior Project Manager at the University of Chicago in 2019. Girard then worked as a Construction Management Consultant in their own independent business from 2013. In 2015, they joined the University of Chicago Medicine as a Project Manager. More recently, Girard joined McKissack & McKissack in 2019 as a Senior Project Manager, and subsequently held the positions of Project Executive and Vice President Midwest & West Region.

Girard Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Tuskegee University, specializing in Architecture and Related Services, from 1981 to 1987. Girard obtained a Building Inspections certification from Olive Harvey College in Chicago, Illinois, from 1998 to 1999, focusing on Building Construction Technology. It is not known when Girard Jenkins started or completed their studies in Strategic Project Management Strategy at the University of Chicago. Additionally, Girard Jenkins holds a certification in Project Management, although the institution and time of completion are not provided.
