Alexis Farrell is an Associate Planner at McKenna since May 2023, previously serving as Assistant Planner, providing diverse planning services to municipal leaders across the Midwest. Prior to this role, Alexis was the Community and Economic Development/Downtown Development Authority Coordinator for the City of Hamtramck, managing various grant applications and supporting planning and zoning initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Social Relations and Policy with a minor in Economics from Michigan State University. Alexis has held roles as a Research Assistant, Mayoral Fellow, Network Coordinator, and Community Engagement Intern, gaining extensive experience in urban planning, community development, and public engagement.
