Peter MacKay is a seasoned legal and political professional with extensive experience in both law and public service. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Deloitte Canada and Senior Counsel at McInnes Cooper since December 2020, Peter previously held key roles as a Partner at Baker McKenzie from 2015 to 2020 and as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada from 2013 to 2015. Peter co-founded the Conservative Party of Canada and was Deputy Leader from 2004 to 2015, also serving as a Member of Parliament for Central Nova and Pictou–Antigonish–Guysborough. A former Minister of National Defence and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peter's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University.
