Dianne Cavanaugh is a seasoned professional in patient safety and risk management with extensive experience in healthcare settings. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Patient Safety and Loss Prevention at MCIC Vermont, LLC since September 2014, Dianne provides expertise to various academic medical centers to enhance patient safety and reduce medical malpractice claims. Prior to this role, Dianne held positions at MCIC Vermont as a Clinical Risk Specialist and Director, contributing to medical professional liability and risk management services for major healthcare institutions. Additional experience includes serving as an RN Quality Specialist at Garnet Health Medical Center - Catskills and a Registered Nurse at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Dianne holds a Master of Science in Health Systems from Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science, Binghamton University.
