Elizabeth Piron, MPH, CIC, is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving at Montgomery County Public Health District since June 2021. Previously, Elizabeth worked as a Case Investigator at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where responsibilities included contact tracing for COVID-19 and providing isolation instructions. Additionally, Elizabeth served as a Contact Tracer for Clear Creek Independent School District and worked as a Substitute Teacher. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and a Graduate Certificate in Genomics and Bioinformatics from UTHealth School of Public Health, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Genetics with a Sociology minor from Texas A&M University.
