Miggy Andres-Bray, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Data Scientist at McGraw Hill since November 2021, where notable work includes developing advanced failure prediction models with 92% accuracy based on learner engagement. Previously, from September 2016 to November 2021, Miggy was a Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, contributing to significant research on MOOCs, including the development of the MOOC Replication Framework and conducting large-scale quantitative studies. Miggy's experience also includes roles as a Doctoral Research Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, and an Information Systems Researcher at Ateneo de Manila University. With a Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education focusing on Learning Analytics and Machine Learning from the University of Pennsylvania and both an MS and BS in Computer Science from Ateneo de Manila University, Miggy has a strong academic and professional background in educational technology and data analysis.
