Jill Parker PE has extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Jill started their career in 1997 at SCANA as an Engineer Intern, where they worked in Transmission System Planning. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as an Engineer at SCANA's VC Summer Plant Support Engineering department. From 2001 to 2015, they held the position of Engineer in System Protection & Control at SCANA. In 2015, they joined Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative, Inc. as a System Engineer, a position they currently hold.

Jill Parker PE received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. Prior to their university education, Jill attended Lexington High School, although details regarding the degree name and field of study are unavailable. In 2006, they obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
