Ben McCorkle currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at McCorkle Nurseries, Inc. since October 2019 and has been a Field Artillery Officer in the Army National Guard since March 2015. Previously, Ben held the position of Controller at PlotWatt from November 2015 to July 2018, where responsibilities included accounting, finance, and HR operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant at Williams Overman Pierce, LLP from August 2013 to November 2015, and participating in the NCSU MAC Program as a Master of Accounting student from June 2012 to August 2013. Ben's career began in sales and marketing as a Senior Account Executive at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from May 2008 to June 2012. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and Management from The University of Georgia.
