Linda Beairsto, B.A., LL.B, C.Dir, CCEP has extensive experience in the legal field, serving in various roles such as Partner at McCarthy Tétrault and President of MT>Align, Executive Director at MT>Align, Chief Compliance Officer at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., Chief General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and Special Counsel at companies like Allergan Inc., DuPont, and Patheon Inc. Linda has managed legal teams, handled mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and compliance issues across multiple industries.

Linda Beairsto holds a B.A. from The University of British Columbia (1978-1982) and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick (1985-1988). Linda also obtained a Chartered Director certification from The Directors College at McMaster University (2012-2013) and a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional certification from the Compliance Certification Board (2017).
