Maximiliano Lacerda has a vast work experience in the advertising industry. Maximiliano started their career at McCann Erickson in 2000, where they served as a Group Account Director until 2003. Maximiliano then joined McCann Lisbon as a Senior Account Director in 2004. In 2005, they transitioned to McCann and held roles such as SVP Group Account Director and later as President until 2011.
After their time at McCann, Lacerda worked at JWT as a Business Leader for a brief period in 2011. Maximiliano then joined WMcCann in 2012 as the Executive Vice President, overseeing global clients such as Nestle, GM, MasterCard, and L'Oréal.
In 2015, Lacerda joined McCann London as the Regional VP for Global Brands - Europe. In this role, they led the London regional Creative Content Team and was directly responsible for coordinating over 15 active countries in Europe. Maximiliano also managed the Europe Communication Hub for MasterCard and drove revenue growth through effective relationship management.
Lacerda continued their career at Berlin School of Creative Leadership from 2017 to 2018, where they pursued an EMBA. Maximiliano then worked at FLAGCX as the Head of Global Clients from March to October 2019. Following that, Lacerda served as the SVP - Global Business Lead at MRM//McCann and is currently the SVP - Global Business Leader at McCann Worldgroup Spain since June 2021.
Maximiliano Lacerda completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Creative Leadership at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they attended the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advertising. Maximiliano also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law at the Universidade Católica de Pernambuco. Furthermore, Maximiliano completed an MBA in Marketing at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and an Extension Course in Marketing at The University of Georgia.
